I totally agree with quadru on this. Lyrics sound like John Lennon’s “Imagine.” A world with a hopless heaven is no world at all. I obviously enjoy the music but disagree with the lyrics.
It reminds of the atheist philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre who resisted feelings of despair that he would say to himself, I know I shall die in hope. Then in profound sadness, he would add, But hope needs a foundation.
but it is about “living together happily” heaven is the opposition of hell and in heaven you dont think about going to heaven your living it NOW instead of hoping.
i dunno if you will be able to open your mind to something like that though.
haha you sed ideology thatz a word in the lyrix to elements so you must of heard it .
“A world without hate, without heaven, without hell
No wars, no arms, no religion, no God
Just your own truth”
I think you’ve missed something. A world with no hope of eternal life would be dystopian. Yes, I wish there was no hate, war, or hell, but there is a way out. It just puzzles me why some don’t want to live forever happily.
That’s why I’m making this comment. Elements and this ideology just don’t fit. I only do this when my reasoning clicks from a secular standpoint: this should.
i didnt reali understand wat you just sed lol.
if your talkin about the lyrix to fantasia it is just his interpretation of heaven and it sayz that everyone else has there own heaven and hapiness.
and how kan you read about how music soundz? maybe if you listen to the album you will see that the music is perfectly suited 4 the lyrix and createz the atmoshpere to the power of the songz
@PowerMetalStoner: Just read the lyrics to those. I respected Stratovarius for a while until I saw more of the albums, and then discarded them. The future in Fantasia would not be happy anymore. The descriptions of Elements, Pt. 1′s sound (I haven’t heard it) are at odds with its storyline.
Maybe a lot of people would ignore these…aberrations…if it didn’t work that way, but this paradox makes little to no sense from any standpoint.
I find this ironically funny from the same band who has written False Messiah, then later Find Your Own Voice and Fantasia. Wonder why you’ve got a problem?
False Messiah is from their first album. Obviously they become more mature on recent releases!
imazing song, one of the best by stratovarius
