I feel like crying listening to this song. I first fell in love with it after watching, remember the titans. My most favorite movie. To later find out it was written by yusuf islam. I love it even more. I love the version he did here. He put in some tribal africano. Much love to the peace train.

just because there’s Muslim extremists doesn’t mean they represent the Muslims as a whole. America has racists, does that mean that Americans are all racists? No, it’s just that everybody has a different opinion, and sometimes it’s just dang hard to change them.

Peace to all my brothers and sisters – there are many paths to God – The important thing is that we as as a species all find our path. PEACE ALL.

why are so many people so obsessed with using yusuf islam videos as an opportunity to criticize muslims and religion in general? this is a wonderful musician and humanitarian. do u see him pushing his religion on you? no. peace and kindness maybe a little, but not his religion. now that’s the last time i comment on his religion. enjoy the music.

His voice still has that unique sound, that I can’t quite name. It’s not as fiery, but it’s still a good voice.

there are christian extremists, ever heard of the KKK, and seriously, every religion will have at least one man or woman who will twist it for their own purposes. love the song

Yusuf Islam aka Cat Stevens is a great example of a peace loving muslim. its sad how extremists have tainted the religion and some of its people.

  22. happyhead64on 08 Nov 2009 at 5:31 am

he sounds just as good as he ever did. I dont care what he calls himself or what his religious or political beliefs are, he is entitled to whatever he believes, but THIS song sounds just incredible. Bravo!

  23. kxdamoon 08 Nov 2009 at 5:31 am

what i dont understand is if muslims want peace then why are there muslim extremists.

  24. theblob2007on 08 Nov 2009 at 5:31 am

How sad. Makes me wonder if Yusuf’s hopes for world peace might not be a bit naive. I’m not a religious man like he is, but when I see how thoughtlessly disrespectful so many people are, I start to wonder if people don’t need a little religion of some sort.
