There are quite a few religions that would just sit there and be happy that they are all different ways of being right. Including some sects of Islam and Christianity.

Lets put it to you real simple…

    Pay attention;

it got important, when the right winged radicals
decided they could target several based groups that are extremely loyal to which they pander too or should i say selectively use.
the evangelicals are pandered to by whom?
    the hypocritical flip flop party..GOP.
Palin , was selected to pander to whom, when Hillary was Obama’s running mate??
Michael Steele was selected or used for what purpose? to pander to the blacks!
    people are waking up…

Hey Lewis u r a funny guy, but not a great thinker.

What is all this “bad”, “good”, “moral” stuff u keep talking about?

Your atheistic worldview provides no basis for these ideas. I’m not saying u r not moral — I’m just saying that u have no basis if you dis God as u appear to have done.

Come on mate, stop getting mad about your disagreeable politicians. The universe will soon end in a heat death and all life in your worldview is ultimately meaningless, so what gives?

    Shalom :-)

    AAAAAAMEN!

  18. MarkatLSUon 06 Dec 2009 at 6:58 pm

Hate to tell you this brainiac, but concepts of “bad”, “good” and “moral” predate the belief systems that support one God. Being Monotheistic, or having any Religious belief system isn’t the end all–be all to being moral. You simply were offended by Lewis and waded into a subject where you’re out of your depth

Take your religious fanaticism out of here you moron. You clearly are out of your league in this situation. You clearly are not Jewish ((I took a look at your profile)) so please do not use our greeting and goodbye as if you were. Go be crazy somewhere else.

The idea of Jesus as part of a trinity was a Greek PAGAN concept adopted by early Christian missionaries to gain converts among the Greeks, and did not become a widely accepted Christian doctrine until after the Council of Nicea in 325 A.D

His book was great, but a little surprising. I always assumed that he was a fellow atheist. He definitely is not.
