No, actually I got it from the Hartford college website. I mean buddy, your arguing with facts that I have just proven. Your making up your own definition to atheism. I am agnostic. I believe there is a higher power but noone can prove it. Yes I actually am a member of a website that is full of atheists, and we have arguements all the time. It cannot work together. You cannot believe that nothing is out there while at the same time believe there may be something out there. I mean Wtf?

Dude you cant say that! Bad religion is not poser punk. greg graffin is a genius and just because the songs are melodic and intelligent it doesnt make it poser punk. you are entitled to your opinion but i have never thought of bad religion as a sell out band or anything other than punk. Graffin has always placed the messages in his music above all else, including profit or popularity. Its not about sounding good (although bad religion does) or appealing to the masses. its about telling truth.

whats bad religion? what religion is it
    ?

  6. TacticalNUKE72on 30 Oct 2009 at 10:23 am

Aren’t you a little too intelligent to be listening to poser punk?

  7. JesusIzAPunkRockeron 30 Oct 2009 at 10:23 am

So i was just in class watching a movie on protests in progue & said to myself: Damn if only these people listened to bad religion they could make informed arguements instead of repeating old rederic without knowing what they r saying. This video makes me glad. for the most part these posts under me are informed and intellectually grounded. there arent furious uninformed people on here spitting unsupported retoric they picked up from the communist manifesto. bad religion teaches intelectualism

Where are you getting these definitions? Wikipedia? ROFL. The standard atheist position that I know of is held by the atheist community and by popular atheists themselves. Myself included. Having a lack of belief rather than a downright claim that no deities can ever exist is completely different in its entirety. Have you ever listened to or spoke with popular atheists in the atheists community? Well I have, any intelligent individual understands that atheism and agnosticism can work together.

  9. DrTmoney1on 30 Oct 2009 at 10:23 am

by the way, before you quote someone and say they are wrong, make sure you knowwhat you are talking about. You just made yourself look like an idiot.

  10. DrTmoney1on 30 Oct 2009 at 10:23 am

Definition of atheism: “Atheism is the position that deities do not exist, or the rejection of theism(religion)”
Definition of agnosticism: ” absolute truth or ultimate certainty of religion is unattainable”
So yes, what I said stands, To deny god and religion. So stupid how you don’t read what you are arguing. Tell me this than, How do you say that all deities do not exsist, while at the sme time you are unsure of whether they exists? makes no sense, therefore you can’t be both.

  11. yoopson 30 Oct 2009 at 10:23 am

Well that’s too bad for you then because that is the very meaning of the word. It doesn’t have a negative connotation to it, just means literally a lack of knowledge. I say there is no God all the time when I defend my atheist position, but it is the context behind what I am saying which is important. God does not exist in our present time because there has not be sufficient evidence put forward for it to be true. Therefore, God does not exist. Doesn’t mean he can never exist.

  12. Nerv3zon 30 Oct 2009 at 10:23 am

I think “Lack of knowledge” is a little strong or insulting. I think what you’re trying to convey is the human race believes that the idea of a god or superior being(s) is unknowable by us.

And it’s not wrong for people to assume that being Atheist means to deny god. Its not right either, but with extremists out there preaching nearly that, well you can see how people can be misinformed.

  13. yoopson 30 Oct 2009 at 10:23 am

Nope you are wrong, the 2 are not interchangeable. They represent different train of thoughts. Agnosticism is the lack of knowledge while Atheism is a lack of belief in a deity. Totally different ideas, the general public are confused between the terminology because they don’t bother to study what they actually mean.

“Atheist mean to deny all of god”
Rofl… So stupid how people actually think this.

  14. DrTmoney1on 30 Oct 2009 at 10:23 am

Atheist mean to deny all of god, they mean there is no such thing as god or anything like it. Agnostic accepts there could a higher power, just they think no one religion has it right. You cannot be atheist and agnostic at the same time.

  15. sabbatha1on 30 Oct 2009 at 10:23 am

    This shit Rox
sorry, I have no political commentary
    I just enjoy the music
    and the message is RIGHT!

  16. yoopson 30 Oct 2009 at 10:23 am

You have no idea what atheism is. Atheists don’t rule out the possibility of a God, it is the lack of belief in one. Majority of Atheists are agnostics, the two are not interchangeable. They are different ideas which not representational of the same view.

  17. PadraikKasieron 30 Oct 2009 at 10:23 am

    Oh, and Bad Religion rocks.

  18. PadraikKasieron 30 Oct 2009 at 10:23 am

Wow you can really hear the diff between NY-punk and Cal-punk.

  19. ponedonkeyon 30 Oct 2009 at 10:23 am

Wow, you miss the point of many of their songs, don’t you?

  20. ponedonkeyon 30 Oct 2009 at 10:23 am

It wasn’t a counterpoint to the hippie movement, most punks just didn’t like hippies because they were peaceful.

  21. TsuruchiMoriyaon 30 Oct 2009 at 10:23 am

Their new stuff is still great. It’s just had its rough edges polished.

  22. shinarockaon 30 Oct 2009 at 10:23 am

They are using the system to get their message across to as many listeners as they can, using the media available. They have been doing since before they were “rich”. The only way to change a system, political, educational, musical or whatever, is from inside. And to get inside you have to play the game. for a bit…
if you want to see punk music make a difference at grass roots level, check out Absolut Pantz.

  23. Fliedermouson 30 Oct 2009 at 10:23 am
