Not to mention the immeasurable amount of retardation to science that religion has caused in defending itself. Imagine how much more advanced our technology and civilization as a whole would be without religion continually cutting science down.

i agreed, it amazes me too!!!

“Let it be”… OK! Would you also say that to the victims of the Inquisition, slavery, 9/11, witchburnings, the subjugation of women, the subjugation of homosexuals, interreligious wars (so that about 95% of every war EVER), ethnic cleansing, fatwa’s, honorkillings, suicide bombings, arranged marriages to minors, human sacrifice and systematical sex with little children. Yeah. Apart from that, just let it be. Idiot. This is what militant atheism is about. The rational voice towards relifreaks.

I like the discussion. where is the rest of this conversation? Where are they talking anyway, on the phone? As for all the religion comments. We’ll all find out what happens when we die. Untill then, stop judging everyone and ‘let it be’.

I can’t believe god made them atheists. That gods one hell of a joker.

Just because you went to a catholic school means nothing. i go a public school and i know a lot about christianity. i go to church on sundays and know a lot. and only a person who was up themself would think they know more if they said they went a private catholic school. And how the heck would you know how much anyone knows about themself are you stupid you dont even know our names!!!

I have one question, why did God let this guy live, instead of a better person on that flight. This guy even made jokes of 9/11. Why was this son of bitch chosen to live without appreciation.

  8. thenjr99on 15 Nov 2009 at 3:02 am

I didn’t say he IS dead, but it’s LIKELY when he does die he will be “going to hell” according the bible. For being an atheist. Jackass.

  9. Zacko94on 15 Nov 2009 at 3:02 am

way to throw lance armstrong in there…wasn’t aware he was dead…lol

Ive heard it all before, youre like the 15th person who responded to me like that. It doesnt mean anything. Even the devil knows the Bible front and back.

  11. thenjr99on 15 Nov 2009 at 3:02 am

It’s not about believing or having fath in “what feels good”. It’s about finding out what is the truth.

I guarantee you I know more about Christianity and all other religions more than you know about yourself. I was a christian for 15 years, and went to a private CATHOLIC school for 10 of those. Catholics go straight by the bible, which in-turn provided me more information than I really needed to know. The bible, like it has been once said, is the Christians worst nightmare.

No im not full of myself many scientist have said this. And if you want to go to hell enjoy yourself there. Im not saying to everyone become a christian i only joined in this because i wanted to see other peoples views. All they have said that there was a greater being, im not saying that is defineatley is god i just have the faith that there is. Maybe i want to go to a place after i did instead of lying in a hole for eternity. its all about faith. Ive made my choice and you have made youes

I see that our perception of “facts” are very different from one another. How about you go to Church to find out about Christianity.

  15. thenjr99on 15 Nov 2009 at 3:02 am

I’m just stating facts, If you want opinions go to church.

  16. mjames4040on 15 Nov 2009 at 3:02 am

no, they arent as intolerant as you. And who’s to say that any of them (or you) are going to hell? Think positive.

  17. thenjr99on 15 Nov 2009 at 3:02 am

Well I’d rather be sitting in hell with the likes of Ben Franklin, Abe Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, Lance Armstrong, Susan B. Anthony, Ghandi, Albert Einstein…and so on and so forth…because basically we all have the same mind set.

  18. bbdog141414on 15 Nov 2009 at 3:02 am

you keep telling me that you have proof but you wont present it.

  19. mjames4040on 15 Nov 2009 at 3:02 am

I have “proof” that I can give you, but the question is if you are willing to accept it.

  20. mjames4040on 15 Nov 2009 at 3:02 am

You seriously dont believe the last sentence that you just said, and if you do, then you have way too much pride.

  21. bbdog141414on 15 Nov 2009 at 3:02 am

what exacley is your proof of gods existance?

  22. thenjr99on 15 Nov 2009 at 3:02 am

“even the scientists who went out to prove that god didnt exist eventually went to the conclusion that there was a greater being”

You really have no clue what you’re talking about. But about the “Faith” part you’re partly correct…Atheists do not believe because they feel that having a religion is not necessary…and that if there is a powerful all knowing god…he would understand our thoughts and reasons for not believing in him. And if we go to hell…then I’d rather be there than heaven.

  23. thenjr99on 15 Nov 2009 at 3:02 am

Me too, and I’m a guy.

  24. shay10chiefon 15 Nov 2009 at 3:02 am

So if someone wants to get you in the sack. All one must do is talk about god’s absenteeism? Sweet the next time I see you in a bar i’ll be like… So, where the fuck is God? and you’ll be like… Take me now! Or what about. Hey baby, Richard dawkins is my dad, wanna meet him? You up for a father-son tag team?
