Very logical and precise. However, your words will fall on intentionally deaf ears. Based on observation of YouTube creationists, I have come to realise that they are incapable of rational critical thought. Its almost as if their brains are wired differently. Could they be a less advanced sub-species?

you stated that religious belief and acceptance of evolution are incompatible, I showed you an example where that is not true and you accepted that, but somehow I don’t understand something?

What you don’t understand is that Catholicism DID not accept evolution until recently.
They DID believe in the bible in a literal way.
It is just now times change we have more evidence and proof that makes the bible really look like a fairy tale , which it is.

Hence to stay in power they “go with the flow” and all of a sudden change their stand point .

It won’t be long until most people realize that god is a fantasy, but before that they will realize that religion is PURE BS.

3 things.

1. No proof that Jesus ever existed has been found

2. If he did exist, there is no proof that he was divine

3. Even if he were divine, the bible has been translated so many times, and so much of it has been discarded that much of the original message has been lost.

Christians are one of the least tolerant groups I’m aware of. Many of them are fine, but many of them are insane, hateful and bigoted, especially against non-theists such as myself.

I would say that you don’t have a clear understanding of the diverse beliefs that exist within religions. There are many people who don’t believe their holy book of choice is meant to be taken literally, and this non-literal belief would not conflict with an acceptance of Evolution as fact. The papacy for example accepts evolution as fact.
